GOD-FOCUSED WORSHIP

God calls each believer to worship Him in Spirit and Truth, and this is how we ascribe worth to Jesus at First Mt. Juliet! Our worship services are filled with expectation of the Holy Spirit, the celebration of life change, and the exaltation of Jesus!

SOUND, BIBLICAL TEACHING

We believe the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life and faith. All preaching and teaching, both in Worship services and Small Group settings, comes from the Bible.

FRIENDLY FACES

First Mt. Juliet is home to some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. No matter your age or stage of life, we want you to feel welcome because you matter!

I've Never Been to Church.

No problem! First Mt. Juliet is a place of people from many different walks of life. Whether you're checking out church for the first time or have attended church your entire life, there's a place for you at First Mt. Juliet.

Join us this Sunday at 735 N. Mt. Juliet Road! We gather for worship every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 A.M.

What Should I Wear?

We welcome you to come as you are. There isn't a dress code. Some of our members wear suits and dresses, some wear jeans and T-shirts. Whatever you wear, you'll fit in here!

Where Do I Take My Kids?

Sunday worship care classes are available from newborn to 5th grade. Your children are important to you, and they're important to us! First Mt. Juliet Kids is focused on providing a nurturing, safe environment for children to learn and become who God made them to be.

If you have children you'll want to go into the Children's Building (directly in front of our Guest Parking). When you walk in, head to the guest check-in counter and let them know it's your first time! They will get your children plugged into our system and will give you a security tag. They will then walk with you to your children's classes, let you say your goodbyes, and escort you to worship.

You can feel safe leaving your children in our care!  All of our kids leaders have been safety certified, background checked, and trained to work with your child's age group.

Is There A Place For Students?

Middle school and high school students have the opportunity to connect in small groups during our 9:30 A.M. service in our Student Center. They can then attend the 11:00 A.M. worship service in the main worship center with their families. On Wednesday evenings, our students have a Midweek worship service in the main Student Center from 6:30-7:30 P.M. Students can come as early as 5:30 P.M. to hang out and fellowship before worship starts!

Visit First Mt. Juliet Students for more information!

I'm Looking For A Small Group.

When Jesus came to earth, He took 12 men, taught them, ate with them, and walked through life with them. It is our desire to imitate this within our Small Groups. You can't really get to know people by slipping in and out of a huge Worship Center. Friendships and relationships grow best in small groups where intimacy and transparency are encouraged. We offer Small Groups at 8:00 A.M., 9:00 A.M. and 10:45 A.M. every Sunday.

Just head to our Welcome Center to find a group for you, or click here to view our small group schedule!

How Do I Become A Christian?

You believe you’re a good person. You’ve always tried to do what’s right. But you still feel empty, unsatisfied, and alone. You may have turned to drinking, drugs, sex, money, partying, or relationships to fill this unexplained need. But something is still missing.

There is only One who can fill the void in your life — God. He is the answer. God has given us a manual for life — the Bible. He has given instructions for how we can have joy, hope, and peace. He has the answers. In the Bible, God gives us good news and tells us how we can know Him and fill the emptiness in our lives. When sin entered the world, we were separated from God because He is perfect and will not allow imperfection in His presence. However, God loves us so much that He didn’t want to be apart from us. So He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life and then suffer the punishment we deserve for our sins by dying on the cross. Because our punishment has been paid, we are seen by God as perfect. That’s good news! But there’s more ... three days later, Jesus conquered death by rising from the dead, allowing us to also defeat death and have eternal life in heaven with Him!

The ABC's of Becoming a Christian:

ADMIT to God that you’re a sinner and ask for His forgiveness.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

CONFESS your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Tell others of your trust in God.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.“ Romans 10:9-10; “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

Are you ready to accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus? Do you desire to ask Him to be your personal Lord and Savior? In your own words, pray and believe a prayer like this one:

Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the grave so that I might have eternal life in heaven with You. I willingly turn away from my sins and ask You to become Lord of my life. I place all of my trust in You alone. Take control of my words, thoughts, and actions. Amen.

If you sincerely prayed this prayer and accepted Christ, we would love to celebrate with you! Text "Jesus" to 615-205-9610 to let us know! Or if you have questions or concerns, call us at 615-754-2525 or visit us at the Welcome Center in the lobby. We want to encourage and equip you in your new relationship with Jesus!

Let us know you're coming!
