CAMP is the most awesome week of the year! For one week, students have the great opportunity to get away from the busyness of life, unplug from all the noise, form and build friendships with peers and relationships with leaders, enjoy God's presence as we worship Him through music and His Word, and have a blast while doing it!!
This year, we are going to a new camp called T.R.O. short for “Thomas Road Outpost.” This camp is a ministry of Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA and it’s located in the beautiful mountains outside of Roanoke, Virginia. The camp runs everything - we just have to get there! It’s the perfect size so it will still feel like our own camp, all while being run by camp professionals. We’re excited about this change in location and style, and we are already praying that God will use this week of camp to do a new work in students’ lives!
Key Dates:
March 24: CAMP Information Meeting & CAMP Registration Opens
April 21: Registration and Deposit DUE BY April 21st for the lowest price. Any registration after April 21 goes up to the late registration price.
May 19: If registered after May 19th, you’ll be on a waitlist for CAMP. Spots are limited. Register early!
June 9: CAMP Parent Meeting at 2pm *Required*; ALL Forms Due and Final Balance Due
Registration Process:
In order to be fully registered, every student needs go through the full registration process:
STEP 1: CAMP REGISTRATION.
Part 1: Complete the First Mt. Juliet Online Registration Form to let reserve your spot.
Part 2: Once you complete our registration form, there will be a link to the TRO Registration. This online form encompasses a student profile, medical release, waiver, and more. Have each student’s insurance and primary care provider information on hand to complete it easily.
STEP 2: WAIVER.
Complete the First Mt. Juliet Waiver if you do not already have one on file for 2024.
STEP 3: PAYMENT.
Submit a $100 deposit for each student at the time of registration. All remaining balances are due June 9th. Payments can be made made check to First Mt. Juliet or online at this CAMP payment link.

Financial Costs of Fall Retreat:
This year, the cost of CAMP is $400 if registered by April 21st. All registrations after April 21st go up to $500. We encourage everyone to register early! We know that the total cost of CAMP is a financial investment. We desire to see every student come to CAMP with us! We never want finances to hinder a student from participating in any ministry opportunities. If you need assistance to cover any portion of the costs of CAMP, please complete the Scholarship Application and return it to students@fbcmj.org so that we can make it possible for you to come to CAMP with us! Through our generous church family and our yearly “Cover a Camper” fundraising campaign, we joyfully send every student to camp fully funded!
