Kathy Posey
Interim Superintendent of MJCA
Kathy Posey attended Johnson University, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Bible and Elementary Education with a minor in ELL. She received her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University and has begun her doctorate studies in School Leadership at Trevecca University. Mrs. Posey has been at MJCA for 22 years and has been the Lower School Principal for five years. She previously taught Kindergarten, first, and third grade at MJCA prior to becoming Principal. She is also an advanced trainer for our reading program - Foundations, and Frameworks. In addition, Kathy spent six years as the Children’s Director at her church and began a preschool program during the week while her children were young. Her three daughters all graduated from MJCA.
