Courtney and his wife, Crystal, have two daughters, Baileigh and Addalyn, and are originally from Northeast Arkansas. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee.

Courtney began his vocational ministry path as a pastor in Northeast Arkansas. In 2014, God called him into student ministry. After serving as a student pastor in Northeast Arkansas and in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex area, God led his family here to First Mt. Juliet in August of 2019.

He has a passion for reaching students for Jesus and desires that every student lives out his or her faith by living in obedience to God’s Word, living life on mission for Jesus, and staying connected to the local church for life.
