First Mt. Juliet Worship Academy is a four-day immersive summer experience designed to equip and inspire the next generation of worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, and creatives. Rooted in the mission of First Mt. Juliet to Love God and Love People, Worship Academy helps students discover how their gifts can serve the Church, lead others in worship, and impact their communities for Christ.
Through hands-on instruction, worship leadership training, biblical teaching, and mentorship from experienced musicians and ministry leaders, students will grow both musically and spiritually in a Christ-centered environment. This is more than a music camp—it is an intentional investment in developing future worship leaders who serve with humility, authenticity, excellence, and a heart for people.
Students will choose a focused track including Worship Leadership, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, or Vocals. Beginner and intermediate classes will strengthen musical skills while also teaching students how to function within a worship team, serve the local church, and lead with confidence and integrity.
Throughout the week, students will experience worship gatherings and devotionals, breakout classes, worship theology and leadership sessions, clinics on live performance and team dynamics, guest speakers, and collaborative worship experiences.
Special guests from worship ministry and the music industry will help students understand how to steward their gifts for God’s glory. Topics include worship leadership, musicianship, live performance, teamwork, spiritual formation, and leading with a pastor’s heart.
The week concludes Thursday evening with a special Worship Night where students will lead and serve together in a live worship environment.
Worship Academy reflects First Mt. Juliet’s commitment to investing in the next generation by helping raise up worship leaders and servant leaders who live out the mission of loving God and loving people.
