Testimonies are powerful because they show how God is personally at work in the lives of His people. When we share our stories—of salvation, transformation, healing, or faith through hardship—we remind others that God is active, faithful, and deeply involved in our everyday lives. Testimonies encourage the church, strengthen faith, and often speak to those who are searching for hope or truth. They’re not about spotlighting ourselves, but about pointing others to Jesus and giving Him glory for what He’s done. Every story matters, and together they tell the greater story of God’s goodness and grace.

From Addiction to the Altar | Abby’s Redemption Story

Abby never expected her lowest moment to be broadcast on the evening news. After a night in jail for boating under the influence, she was forced to confront the reality of her addiction—and the wreckage it had left behind. But that breaking point became a turning point. Though she had always been a woman of faith, Abby realized she had been turning to alcohol for comfort instead of Jesus. Broken relationships. Public shame. And then—unexpected grace. This is Abby’s story of how God took what seemed unredeemable and used it to lead her back to the altar. From addiction to restoration, her testimony is a powerful reminder that no one is too far gone for God to rescue.
