Dates: January 13 – 16, 2023
Location: Orlando, Florida
We are excited for the opportunity to take a group of students to Orlando, Florida for Student Leadership University (SLU) 101!
SLU is a long-standing ministry that exists to “equip the students of today to be the Christian leaders of tomorrow.” This is not a retreat, a camp, or a mission trip. This is a top-tier leadership conference. In less than four days students will be sitting in 13 sessions lead by high-impact leaders, experts, and executives covering a variety of topics: Rules and Tools of Leadership, Worldview Development, Business Leadership, Personality Assessment, Time and Goal Management, and more.
We believe the SLU experience can inspire, equip, and propel students into strong ownership of their faith, the pursuit of a life of servant leadership, and all-in commitment to be who God has created them to be for His Kingdom purposes. This opportunity is available to any student in our ministry currently in 8th-12th grade who has a desire to learn and grow!
There is limited space for this trip, and we desire to take a group of students with potential and commitment. Therefore, we are asking each student interested in going to Student Leadership University to fill out the application form to the best of his/her ability. The application form is DUE by October 2nd.
The group will be solidified by Sunday, October 16th, and at that point a $100 deposit is due to secure your commitment to going on this trip. The final cost of this SLU trip is not finalized yet. The next payment will be due by November 6th. The remaining balance of the trip costs will be due by December 11th.
There are two parts to the application: Personal and Reference. For the Personal part, complete the SLU Participant Application. *If you need a physical copy we can get you one. For the Reference part, have an adult in your life complete the SLU Adult Reference. Choose an adult that is important to you, knows you well, and will give you an honest reference. Both forms are due by Sunday, October 2nd.
