What Really Matters?

King Solomon, renowned as the wisest man who ever lived, explores the profound question of life's meaning in Ecclesiastes. Through his personal journey of both tremendous success and deep reflection, he concludes that viewing life solely from an earthly perspective - what he calls under the sun - leads to a sense of emptiness and futility. Even the greatest achievements and pleasures feel meaningless when disconnected from their divine purpose. However, Solomon's message isn't one of despair but of hope and wisdom. He reveals that true meaning emerges when we recognize God's sovereignty and presence in our daily lives. The seemingly endless cycles of nature, the brevity of human life, and the temporary nature of achievements all point to something greater - an eternal God who gives significance to our temporary existence. When we place God at the center of our lives, even ordinary moments take on eternal meaning, transforming our perspective from one of futility to one of purpose.
