Living Wisely, Giving Freely, Trusting Boldly
The book of Ecclesiastes contrasts the emptiness of life 'under the sun' without God with the fulfillment found in fearing the Lord, reverencing Him and responding with surrender and love. Living wisely involves aligning our hearts with God's wisdom and the Great Commission, while being mindful of our words, ensuring they are necessary, helpful, and timely.Biblical generosity reflects God's own generous nature, encompassing not just finances but also time, talents, and love. Rather than waiting for perfect conditions, we're called to give freely and trust God with what we cannot understand. Just as we don't comprehend how the wind moves or how life forms in the womb, we cannot fully grasp God's work, yet we can take the next step in faith. Life itself is a blessing to be approached with thankfulness, recognizing that everything we have is for His glory and others' benefit. By living with an eternal perspective, we find meaning and purpose even in life's temporary nature.
