KEY THOUGHT: The power of God that saves us brings us from death to a life of good works for God’s glory.

I. Before Christ a Person is Spiritually -(1-3)-“you were dead in your transgressions and sins…”

A. We Lived By a Different -(2)-“when you followed the way of this world”

B. We Followed our Sinful -(3a)-“gratifying the cravings of our flesh…”

C. We Fell Under God’s -(3b)-“we were by nature deserving of wrath.”

II. God Us to Bring Life in Christ-(4-5)-“But God because of His great love for us…”

Three motivations for God’s salvation:

A. -(4a)-“who is rich in mercy”
B. -(4b)-“because of His great love”
C. -(5)-“it is by grace you have been saved”
