THE FATHER’S CHOICE
EPHESIANS 1:3-6

CONTEXT: The Apostle Paul is praising God for the gift of salvation.

KEY THOUGHT: God the Father initiated salvation so that we might be in His family.

I. We Are Recipients of His    -(3)

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

II. We Have Experienced His    -(4)

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.”

III. We Have Become His   and  -(5-6)

“He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.”
