New Beginnings

God delights in new beginnings. The gospel is about new life, and every believer can experience the new chapters and next pages of God's plan for them.

Gospel Conversations

The Bible is a unified story about how God created us in his image, then countered our rebellion with his redemption by sending Jesus. Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s original promise in Genesis to set us free from sin and death - which is good news! (aka: Gospel) Christians have been commissioned to share this powerful Gospel, so this sermon series from the Gospel of John will help us turn our everyday conversations into Gospel conversations.

Baptisms

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. It is an outward expression of an inward faith.

Family Dedication

The word "dedicate" means to set aside or commit to a sacred purpose. These families are committing a child to God and God's purposes for that child. It is a time of commitment where parents promise to raise their children with godly principles. Through this ceremony, families show God, friends, and family that they
are willing to take on the responsibility of guiding their children into a relationship with God.

Church Matters

Paul's final letters were personal and practical instructions regarding how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God (1 Tim. 3:15). God’s household is the church, and clearly the church matters. All of us could use a reminder of what the local church is supposed to look and act like.

Spiritual Gifts

What are spiritual gifts? What is their purpose? How do I find out what my spiritual gifts are? How do I develop my spiritual gifts? Interim Pastor Mark Dance explores these questions and more!
