We are excited to see renovations continue for our new restrooms and South Welcome Center! More concrete footings continue to be poured on the North side of campus to prepare for our upgraded North entrance. Installation continues on the 3-hour firewall between the Children's Building and the Main Building on the South side of campus.
*Don’t forget! While there is work being done on the South Welcome Center, you can still enter the South Welcome Center doors. Please know that the South Worship Center doors are still unavailable.
THANK YOU church family and MJCA students for another incredible response of 747 filled shoe boxes! Each shoe box gives 9 people the opportunity to hear, learn and accept Jesus, which means 4,266 lives can be reached by our gifts of shoe boxes! Thank you for your generosity this Christmas season!
Our Church Family will be collecting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering on December 5 in both morning services. This is a special offering that supports international missionaries across the world. We will have a special time of giving on Sunday, December 5 but you can give at any time, even online at fbcmj.org. Envelopes are available at the tables by the Worship Center doors.
All around the world, there are children without a family. It's not just a need that exists in a faraway place-- it's a need that is right outside our door here in Wilson County. Many children are waiting right now for a loving family, mentor, or friend. It takes just one loving person to change the life of a child. Our church has an orphan care ministry that comes alongside an adoptive or foster family to support, love, encourage, serve, and pray for them.

First Baptist Mt. Juliet serves in our public schools through Good News Clubs. Each week, our clubs teach over 130 kids about the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible lessons, memory verses, songs, and prayer. The end goal is to integrate children and families into the local church. First Baptist currently sponsors two schools, and we now have a third school wanting to partner with us--but we need volunteers!
If you feel led to get out into the community and take the gospel of Jesus into our public schools, email us at
