Student Pastor – Full Time

Position Overview:
First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet is seeking a full-time Student Pastor to lead and disciple students in grades 6-12. The Student Pastor will provide leadership, vision, and oversight for the student ministry, focusing on spiritual growth, relationship-building, and outreach. This role includes teaching, mentoring, organizing events, and working closely with volunteers and parents to create a vibrant and supportive environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead weekly student services and Bible studies, fostering an environment for spiritual growth.

Develop and oversee small group ministries and provide guidance to student leaders.

Plan and coordinate special events such as retreats, mission trips, and service projects.

Build relationships with students, parents, and volunteers to create a cohesive, supportive ministry team.

Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist in the ministry.

Ensure a safe, secure environment for all student ministry activities.
Qualifications:

A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for student ministry.

Previous experience in youth ministry is preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work effectively with students, volunteers, and church leadership.

A bachelor’s degree in ministry or related field is preferred.

Children’s Ministry Director – Full Time
Location: Mt. Juliet, TN
Position Overview:
First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet is seeking a full-time Children’s Ministry Director to lead the children’s ministry (birth through 5th grade). This position will involve developing curriculum, coordinating volunteers, and creating a safe, engaging environment for children to grow in their faith.
Key Responsibilities:
