Position Overview:
First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet is seeking a full-time Student Pastor to lead and disciple students in grades 6-12. The Student Pastor will provide leadership, vision, and oversight for the student ministry, focusing on spiritual growth, relationship-building, and outreach. This role includes teaching, mentoring, organizing events, and working closely with volunteers and parents to create a vibrant and supportive environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead weekly student services and Bible studies, fostering an environment for spiritual growth.

  • Develop and oversee small group ministries and provide guidance to student leaders.

  • Plan and coordinate special events such as retreats, mission trips, and service projects.

  • Build relationships with students, parents, and volunteers to create a cohesive, supportive ministry team.

  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist in the ministry.

  • Ensure a safe, secure environment for all student ministry activities.

Qualifications:

  • A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for student ministry.

  • Previous experience in youth ministry is preferred.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with students, volunteers, and church leadership.

  • A bachelor’s degree in ministry or related field is preferred.

Children’s Ministry Director – Full Time

Position Overview:
First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet is seeking a full-time Children’s Ministry Director to lead the children’s ministry (birth through 5th grade). This position will involve developing curriculum, coordinating volunteers, and creating a safe, engaging environment for children to grow in their faith.
