Children's Activities

The Kid’s Corner @ FBCMJ offers a plethora of activities for the spiritual development of your preschooler through fifth grader. The nurseries as well as the preschool and kindergarten are located on the upper level. Grades 1 - 5 are located on the lower level of the wing. Every Sunday expect to be greeted by smiling faces as we guide parents and children to their classes or activities at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m. The following activities are additional offerings on Sundays and Wednesdays:

Sunday School
Learning about God can be fun. FBCMJ offers interactive Bible study for all ages and our classes are just a few footsteps away from the front door. Sunday School meets each Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m.

AWANA Clubs (August - May)
Clubs meet from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in The Kid’s Corner wing of FBCMJ. This program helps children (and adult workers) hide God’s Word in their hearts and burn them onto their minds. Using a handbook, devotions and games, the kids are challenged weekly to be unashamed workmen for Christ.

(Super Summer Sundays take place during June and July)

Mission /Music Wednesday Night Activities (August - May)
On Wednesday evenings from August through May, kids can experience what it means to love God, love people and go into the world. Activities are offered for preschoolers and children in Grades 1 - 5 from 6 - 7:30 pm throughout the school year. 

(WaCkY WeDnEsDaY takes place during June and July)

IMPACT (A Children's Worship Experience)
FBC kids have an opportunity to allow worship to impact their lives each Sunday. This fun, innovative, energetic time includes praise songs, relevant Bible lessons for kids, topical studies, games, small group interaction. Kids will check in each week where they will spend approximately an hour worshipping God. This worship service will take place at both the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. hours in the large portable building just to the east of the Children's wing of the church.
